- Widmer Farm is a friendly yard in an excellent location. The refurbishment looks great and the yard manager Jodie is professional, competent and a great asset. They have many excellent ideas for developing the support and teaching side of their business.

- I live in London, so knowing my horse is going to be well cared for when I'm not around is of utmost importance to me. I could not be happier with every aspect of Widmer. The facilities are great and are constantly being updated and improved. The staff and other liveries are all very friendly and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble and I never feel intimidated or embarrassed asking for advice. My veteran horse has been given a new lease of life since moving to Widmer, she seems at least 10 years younger!

- My name is Susie Bicknell and I am secretary of the Hodgemoor Riding Association, which exists to raise money to improve access for horseriders in and around Hodgemoor Woods. Over the last 8 years, we have spent £70 000 repairing and creating horse trails. Widmer Farm is literally a stone's throw from these woods, so riders there have only 20 yds of lane to get to 250 acres of off-road hacking.Francesca and James took over Widmer just over two years ago, and have invested considerable funds, time and effort in improving the facilities. From what I've heard from liveries based there, it is a happy and efficient yard.

- I am so impressed with Widmer's manager unfailing professionalism, enthusiasm and kindness. She has made a big difference to my first couple of months on the yard. I think that it is a tough job to look after horses and their owners, offer good advice and remain calm and patient regardless of circumstances. Jodie makes it look effortless.
